Corporate Responsibility
A&B embrace Corporate Social Responsibility, and we ensure our business is doing whatever it can to ‘give back’ in the long term. We are committed to a policy of integrating Corporate Responsibility in all areas of our business from our staff to our customers, the environment, the community and society as a whole.

Environment
Climate change is increasingly making its presence felt in all areas of life and business. There is a common responsibility for our generation to take care of the environment to limit the harm done by our lifestyles for future generations. A&B are working towards formal accreditation in this area and will in all areas of our business, look to limit the environmental impact of our business activities.
Fundraising
a&b are committed to fundraising in a planned and structured way. Our aim is to raise as much as possible for our chosen charities. Here are just some of the things our staff have done to raise money:
Charity Golf Days
Our Charity Golf Days held at Hazel Grove Golf Club since 2000, have so far raised more than £20,000 for our nominated charities
The 3 Peaks Challenge A&B Annual Quiz Challenge
Eight members of our staff braved the elements to raise money for a North West charity. With over £6,500 raised in sponsorship, it was well worth all the hard work training!
A&B Annual Quiz Challenge
In the last 15 years, our annual quiz nights have raised over £25,000 for our local charities.
Marketplace
a&b insurance brokers aim to promote a responsible business ethos to all suppliers and customers where appropriate. We will look at all times to align with similar minded businesses who share our views on the adoption of a CSR policy.
Workplace
It is important that people working within an organisation feel valued and appreciated by that company while going about their daily activities. A&B are committed to protecting our greatest asset – our team.
We are committed to working towards flexible working options and promoting a work-life balance.
A&B operate a volunteer programme where staff are invited to spend regular working days donated to a charity of their choice. Our team members can make a difference by practical hands-on help without using their holiday allowance.
